Recomp Coach is a personal training and nutrition app for iOS. By using the app you agree to these terms. These terms are also the end-user licence agreement (EULA) for the app. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Recomp Coach on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, on the terms set out here and in Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
Recomp Coach is not a doctor and does not give medical advice. It provides fitness and nutrition guidance for healthy adults. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Recovery scores, calorie and macro targets, and coaching suggestions - including anything written by the AI Coach - are informational only. Consult a qualified professional before starting a training or nutrition program, particularly if you are pregnant, under 18, or managing a medical condition, and stop training and seek medical advice if you feel unwell. Subscribing changes none of this.
Recomp Coach is free to download and free to use. Recomp Coach Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold as two products:
Price and billing period. The price and length of each plan are shown on the subscription screen inside the app, in your own local currency, before you are asked to buy anything. That in-app figure is the one that applies. No price is published on this page on purpose: it varies by country, currency and tax, and it can change. If the price of a plan you are on changes, Apple asks for your consent before charging the new amount.
Free trial. If an introductory free trial is offered on a plan, its length is stated on that same screen. A trial converts into a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel before it ends, and any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the current period ending, unless auto-renew is switched off before then.
How to cancel. Manage or cancel at any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancellation must be at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. Cancelling stops the next renewal - you keep Pro for the rest of the period you have already paid for. A subscription cannot be cancelled from inside Recomp Coach, because we never handle the payment.
Apple is the merchant of record. Every purchase is made through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple takes the payment, holds your payment details and issues the receipt; we never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us - request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can see that a subscription exists and whether it is currently active; we cannot issue, refund, or alter a charge.
What Pro changes, and what it does not. Pro lifts the weekly allowance on AI Coach messages and meal-photo logging (the gym-floor scan draws on the same photo allowance), and switches on the features that do work for you automatically - weekly target updates applied for you, stall and deload plans, and sessions that trim themselves on a low-recovery day. Everything you record and everything the app tells you stays available without it: all logging, history, charts, personal records, the muscle map, every exercise animation, and your full data export. No safety information is ever behind the subscription - calorie floors, readiness guidance and rest-day recommendations are the same in both tiers, permanently. If a subscription lapses or is refunded, the Pro features stop; nothing you have logged is removed, locked, or exported anywhere, and the app keeps working.
How your subscription is handled by us and by the services involved is described in the privacy policy.
Your training, nutrition, and health data stays on your device, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping your device and any connected tracker accounts (WHOOP, Google, Oura, Garmin, Apple Health) secure. Connected-tracker data is fetched with your consent via each service's official sign-in and can be disconnected at any time.
Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the app's server services (AI coach relay, leaderboards), and don't use offensive display names on the leaderboard. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the app, including training decisions based on its guidance. The app may change or be discontinued at any time; third-party integrations may stop working if those services change their APIs.
